Note:

If you use the ICVA project template then the following fields will be visible:

  • Weight: Calculate the weighted averages of the parent sections.

    • 0 excludes the item from coverage.

    • 0 for all children excludes the parent scope.

  • Goal %: The target coverage in % that must be reached.

(Supports fractional values, for example, 99.9%.)

Derived fields update a Verification Requirement with the latest Coverage and Objects from the Regression Results of a Polarion Test Run. They can be used in a Test Plan or other Live Document and are also visible in the IC Verification Assistant sidebar.

Derived field values are updated every time Regression Results are imported. (Their fields remain empty if there is no data from the latest Regression Results.) If you delete the latest Regression Results record, the Derived fields will either be cleared or show the latest Test Run data.

    • Coverage %: The result of the verification simulation.

    • Objects: The number of objects that were verified during the verification simulation.

  • Unimplemented: Whether the verification requirement is implemented or not.

    (Can be 1=Implemented or 0=Unimplemented).

  • Owner: Added as a custom enumeration in Polarion and refers to the responsible user.

  • Method: Added as a custom enumeration in Polarion and refers to the method used for verification.

  • ID: The selected item's Work Item ID.
