Using a Translator

The JT conversion processes uses translators, such as a Theorem translator or a Teamcenter translator. The translator is called in the catia2jt script, so it is necessary that the script must be configured correctly.

Translate CATIA files into JTs using one of the following methods.

• Theorem Translator
• Teamcenter Translators
• • catia2jt script (default method, unless Dispatcher Services is installed)
  • Dispatcher Services
• Other Translators

The catia2jt script must be configured to use with the translator specific to your environment, unless the Dispatcher Services method is used.
