Project definition and options for creating

A project in Polarion is a collection of artifacts and data residing on the system in a repository folder, which is dedicated to managing some specific development activity throughout its life cycle. There are two basic scenarios for creating a project:

• Create a new project from a Project Template: Available to all users who have permission to create projects.

• Mark an existing repository folder as a Project: Available to project administrators only.
