141249	Outline routine works correctly (as designed) with the tetra meshes but it appears as a problem. This is due to the geometry of tetras and the arrangement of tetra elements in the mesh. Before GFEM creates an outline it needs to checked if tetra elements exist in the model and if so display "Tetra elements in model - outline will be incorrect".
176905	The problem part contained a single solid that would not mesh using V10.1 ph2 within the GFEM product. The solid will mesh in phase20 of V11 with default settings. More memory is required in order to get a finer mesh.
182490	This problem was reported due to the inability to create radial dimensions on specific arcs. This problem has been tested and verified fixed in V11.
182884	The problem with incorrect dimensions being created to solid edge arcs in this part is fixed in V11.0.
183225	When alter analysis language was used to go from Nastran to GFEMfea. Then the .res file was retrieved so that the postprocessor could be entered. A tag error had been generated. This problem no longer occurs in V11. Also DELETE POST DATA from the top menu cleans up the part file.

205976	The Edit-Blank->Unblank All But Type option will be removed in V11. It never functioned properly and improvements to UG in V10.x and V11 make it possible to accomplish any of its purported functions. Between the new Unblank Selected option, using Unblank All of Type with new Class Selection filter list boxes (which allow de-selection as well) and the restored Class Selection All But Selected option, the user has far better tools at their fingertips.
321094	The problem reported was with regards to not being able to use the "#" symbol in the notes/label editor. This is fixed and will be incorporated in one of the future releases.

Results: Fixed in V11.0 of Unigraphics. 380528-2 = An attempt was made to associate an object with another object. Results: Fixed in V11.0 of Unigraphics 380528-3 = NULL ENTITY not allowed. Results: Part was found to be corrupt. It contains an arc without a corresponding matrix, and will generate an RM error in V9 if you attempt to regenerate the display. The system is fixed so that this part can now be loaded, but you will still get the RM error if the screen is regenerated.
380540	When a Grip program, called from Ufunc, encounters a condition that causes an internal error, it will return that error code to the Ufunc program. The error code is equivalent to the interactive error that is displayed in Grip programs run outside of User Function. The fix for this problem will be in Unigraphics V11.

389062	The problem where the VECT minor word and specified vector have no effect on the direction of an intersection curve when used without limiting points has been verified. The V11 documentation will be updated to reflect this. The VECT minor word and vector were intended to only be used with limiting entities and points, so that the direction of the intersection curve is from the first limit point to the second limit point in the direction of the specified vector. This is useful for periodic surfaces such as spheres, cylinders, etc.
389337	The problem with the IGES to UG conversion hanging when converting a certain IGES file in V10.4 has been fixed in V10.5. On a machine with 64 Mbytes of memory it will take a very long time to convert, days. On a machine with 128 Mbytes of memory it will convert in hours.

391071	The problem: bad data was being written to the CGM file for the Char Orientation element when the VDC type is Integer. Char Orientation is used for slanted and rotated text. Fixed for V11.0.

393963	Converted a UG part file to IGES and 5527 entities are created in the IGES file. When the IGES file is converted back to UG, it reaches the maximum entities allowed in UG and creates a partial file. The original part file has 10839 entities, 2178 spcurves, 835 splines and 2178 edges. The looped part has 65506 entities, 18108 spcurves, 20415 splines and 18108 edges. There seems to be an explosion of geometry in the postprocessed part. The V9.1 IGES postprocessor is breaking up the trim curves causing the maximum UG entity count to be exceeded. This does not occur in V11.0 IGES. The UG part converts to IGES and creates 5979 entities and when converted back to UG, creates 5789 entities. This problem will not be fixed in V9.2.

394363	The problem of change edge not working in V10.x as it did in V9.x has been addressed and fixed for V11. Please Note: The failure of change edge operation is because the new face will become a non-G1 continuous geometry which does not pass the check in RESUSH. (Resush is a routine called within UG.)Right now, the solution is to temporarily turn off the continuity check and allow face to be created with a warning message "Non-G1 continuous geometry created" in the Status line. Users should be aware that downstream operations on this non-G1 geometry might fail too. If users don't want to create this face, he can use undo to recover the original shape. The turning off of the continuity check is done internal to UG.
394497	The problem when editing existing text has been fixed and will be submitted into V11. In the new behavior when editing a text entity, UG will prompt so that users can choose either to reset the text edit area width to that of the text width; or to reformat text according to current text area width in the editor area. This prompt happens when the following two conditions are true: 1. text entity width and the text area are of different width. 2. there are soft carriage return in the text.

This was submitted as a regression for V10.4 but development intentionally did not allow the operation in V10.5 because it caused problems with updating features. They have now reimplimented the functionality in V11.

The &NATTR(part) command only returns the number of string attributes assigned to the part. 411797	PR 1411797 is working per design. The problem was reported due to the "modeller error" received selecting a curve as a guide or section string for curve mesh creation. The length of the selected string (0.03) is shorter than the modeling distance tolerance (0.1). In post v10.5, a warning message "String Contains No Object" will pop up when this happens. An additional explanation that suggests the user to check the tolerance when this message shows up will be added to the documentation in V11. In fact, if the modeling tolerance is reset to 0.01, the string can be selected with no problem.

So, if the pick point is not on the surface then this step will fail. In short, you are not selecting an edge, you are specifying a point on the surface near the edge/corner you are interested in. I have submitted a change to the documentation for the extension surface function to make this clear. The documentation change will be in V11.0.

In V11.0, section line creation and update were enhanced so that user-defined arrow (and bend) section line segments are differentiated from system-defined ones. In this example, if the user doesn't place the arrow segments and lets the system place them, the system will recalculate the position and they both update correctly following the model edit. Also the dimension doesn't get lost. If the user does specify the arrow segments, the arrow will be improperly placed if there is a modeling change, but, the workaround below still applies for this example. In V10.5, the arrow is still updated to the wrong position. But the user could Edit->Section Line->Delete Segment the incorrectly placed arrow, which will cause a new one to be placed correctly. Or, the user could Edit->Section Line->Move Segment and move the arrow to the desired position.

Since Parasolid refuses to create the offset, UG surface conversion attempts to replace the offset with an approximation. Because of the self intersection, the approximation takes a very long time and will eventually succeed or stop with an error. The customer has been told which surface is causing the problem and it appears that he has corrected the problem. The error generated when this part is retrieved in V11 phase 19 was fixed in phase 20. The Parasolid for V11 has been changed and the problem offset surface in it is created successfully so no approximation is needed and the part retrieves successfully. A new way of dealing with surfaces of this type is being created to handle the situation better.

A workaround the client might be interested in is to do an update on one of the UDF components (for example, a flange), which would then create a "meta" feature for that UDF, so that when you edit the parameters of features outside of the UDF, UGV10.5 would just use the copy of the UDF found in the "meta" feature, which would not require traversal of the UDF components, which would eliminate that problem.

At this moment, system intended to copy information from original associated sweep to construct a new sweep. during above coping, bad data has been saved and copied into new creating sweep which cause problem. what users can do is that once part is loaded, to utilities/part clean up, then during such sketch editing, do not create another legal profile - which is disjointed with original sketch curves, such as done by sketch mirror functions. or he/she can create a new sketch to instead of editing original sketch curves.
