User Interface Support
Overview
The following routines provide Motif dialog support and enable you to
display text in the NX prompt and status areas of the display. With the
subroutines in this chapter you can:
- Add the friendly name associated with the class name of a User
Defined Object (UDO) to the Type list of the class selection dialog.
- Read the view of the cursor.
- Read the directory path of a given dialog.
- Read the filter extension of the current dialog.
- Inquire what units the user would like information displayedin.
- Inquire the information window (listing window) real number display
preference and number of decimal places to display.
- Display the list of input items and allows the user to choose single
or multiple items from the list.
- Close, unmanage, and clear the listing window.
- Load a User Tool dialog.
- Display a nonmodal Message Dialog with an OK button.
- Display or remove a specified User Tool dialog from the screen.
- Query whether the listing window is open or closed.
- Open and manage (display) a new empty motif style listing window if
in internal Open C API mode.
- Save the contents of the listing window to a file.
- Select multiple objects.
- Select multiple features.
- Display a list box of the expressions corresponding to the parameters
of an input feature
- Display the rpo dimensions of a specified feature in a list box which
shows the corresponding expressions.
- Select a single object.
- Present a list box of all sketches in the work part and return the
sketch selected by the user.
- Change the view of the cursor.
- Display text in the NX status display area.
- Display text in the NX prompt display area.
- Replace the user tool definition file specified by a user tools menubar
option.
- Select the plane subfunction default mode.
- Toggle the stoplight on or off.
- Select a collection of points using the Point Specification menu
- Display sketch dimensions of a sketch.
- Determine which object types to mask.
- Write a character string to the listing window.
