Notifications

The last consideration when getting ready to launch a new project is Notifications. These are configured globally, and the scheme is inherited by new projects. In most cases, your system's global default scheme for notifications works to begin your project. If you find that you need project-specific tweaks, you can work with an administrator to modify the project configuration after the project is under way. For example, if you find that some notifications set in the global notification configuration are not necessary in the context of your project, your administrator can adjust the notification scheme for the project. If some notifications are of vital importance, then you should first review the global notification scheme. Global administrator permissions required for access, so you may need to work with an administrator.

  1. When logged on with global administrator permissions, open Repository.

  2. Enter Administration via the Tool view of Navigation.

  3. In Navigation, select NotificationsEvents and Targets.

You can now review the global Notifications configuration. If you find that you need to make changes for your project, your administrator can perform the configuration in the same Administration topic of your project.
