Show Inheritance (Home ribbon)
The command Show Inheritance opens the window Inheritance that shows the paths of the objects that are derived from the selected object.
To expand or collapse the levels of the structure one by one, click
or 
or select a node with branches and press the right or left arrow keys on the keyboard. To expand or collapse all levels of the structure, select the menu commands Expand All or Collapse All on the context menu.
To find an object, enter its name into the text box next to Find, and click Find. Plant Simulation searches the structure and highlights the entry in the list. Click Find again to find additional instances of the search term.
If you are searching for different objects and do not remember their exact names, you can use regular expressions in your search, compare the description under Show Structure.
To open the dialog of an object in the list, double-click it in the list.
