What's new in Next Generation Planning 1.9 for users

Next Generation Planning has added the capability to clone activities in this release, making it even easier for you to leverage common areas of ships.

Next Generation Planning has also added the powerful and time saving capability to clone build elements. Doing this also clones components within a build element, such as but not limited to activities, process elements, and operations.

Your ability to use the 3D Viewer to visualize the parts in your structure is enhanced by the inclusion of the 3D Viewer on the process element page.

You can now discontinue a process element from an activity, and still be able to track that obsolete process element.

Working with the twin process elements and manufacturing elements is easier, because the naming of manufacturing elements is now directly tied to naming process elements. Also the separate Buildup Tab has been removed, making the interaction more streamlined.

Updating a cloned process element now includes updating Model Views and build flows, enhancing the benefits of cloning process elements.

Improved navigation control in the Work Unit tab makes it easier to create flows and move process elements.
