Assign product to an operation

During process planning, you must assign the parts and assemblies produced by an operation. You assign the items to the operation in a plant bill of process (BOP) structure.

1. Navigate to a process area or process line that contains process stations.

2. Open a process station.

3. On the Parts subtab, navigate to display the product parts and assemblies you want to assign.

4. On the Operations table, select the target operation.

5. To assign a part or assembly to the operation, select and drag the items from the Parts subtab to the Consumed Parts tab of the selected operation.

6. (Optional) To remove a part or assembly from an operation, select the item in the Consumed Parts tab, and click Unassign .
