What's new in Easy Plan 2.11

• All workspaces in Easy Plan 2.11 are supported on Teamcenter 11.4 and higher, and Active Workspace 4.1, including patches.

  Easy Plan 2.11 is supported on Teamcenter 12.2 and higher, Active Workspace 4.1, including patches, on Windows platforms only.

• The Teamcenter Manufacturing Access workspace is supported on NX 12.0.2 or later.

• The Teamcenter Manufacturing Access workspace is supported on Process Simulate 14.1.x or later.

• You can define the order in which assigned objects are displayed in the Workarea table.

  You use the EP_AssignedWorkareaTabColumnConfiguration preference to set column configurations.

  Note:

  You can use this preference to define properties for Production Process Planning and Work Instructions Authoring.

• You can define cloning rules for plant bills of process (BOP).

  You use the EP_CloningSupportedProcessTypes preference to define whether consumed parts and assigned resources in the existing plant BOP are copied into the cloned plant BOP.

• You can define the order in which assigned objects are displayed in the Workarea table.

  You use the EP_AssignedWorkareaTabColumnConfiguration preference to set column configurations.

  Note:

  You can use this preference to define properties for Production Process Planning and Work Instructions Authoring.

• You can define the occurrence types that display in the Assigned Resources table.

  You use the MEAssignCustomizedOccurrenceType preference to define default occurrence types for the Assigned Resources table.

If Easy Plan 2.7 was installed in your environment, when you upgrade to Teamcenter 12 an error message displays and deployment fails.

To resolve this issue, navigate to %TC_ROOT% and delete the media_teamcenter_easyplan_wntx64.xml file before you start the upgrade.

• The compare and propagate variant formulas feature does not work in Teamcenter 11.6. You must install the Teamcenter 11.6.0.8 patch before end users can compare and propagate variant formulas in your environment.

• There is a bug in Teamcenter 11.4 that causes a problem working with activities in Production Process Planning. As a workaround, set the Attachment_window_clean_up_disable preference to false. This is fixed in Teamcenter 11.5.

If an end user creates a Plant object type as a root, this action causes an issue. As a workaround, modify the MEPlantCreate stylesheet for Plant and remove the section for the IMAN_master_form:cost property.
